Property Investment Company From Overseas

Background

Client G is a property investment company with Middle Eastern background based in UOA Business Centre, KLCC. They were looking for a permanent accountant when they engaged us to assist them with the recruitment. At the same time they were also looking for a secretary for the managing director, which was however out of our scope as we only cater for accounting recruitment.

Their Challenges

Most administrative and accounting work was done by their team in the Middle East previously. However, due to better convenience, the management decided to build their own administrative and accounting team which was to be based in their UOA office.

As a property investment company, they did not need a lot of staff as they did not have a lot of transactions. However, they needed an accountant urgently to take over the accounting work from overseas. They also needed a secretary to handle the daily administrative work for the managing director.

They were also unfamiliar with the recruitment for both vacancies in Malaysia.

Our Solution

We were aware that the accountant would also be involved in a lot of administrative work due to shortage of staff. As such, we looked for accounting candidates who also had administrative working experience.

Result

We were able to source for an accountant with more than 10 years of accounting experience including office administration and human resources.
